Kelly Duquette is a Municipal Planning, Land Use and Development Associate at Dentons since January 2024, bringing extensive legal and artistic experience. As the Artist, Founder, and President of Kelly Duquette Art since September 2012, Kelly draws inspiration from the Métis peoples' cultural resurgence. Previous roles include Associate and Articling Student at Gowling WLG, where Kelly focused on legal issues impacting Indigenous communities. Internships at the Senate of Canada, Osgoode Hall Law School, and the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General underscore a commitment to Aboriginal land, resources, and rights. Kelly's educational background includes a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a minor in Aboriginal Studies.
