Florian Sobirey

Florian Sobirey has over 15 years of work experience in design-related roles. Florian started their career at icubic AG in 2004 as a Design Intern and later became a User Interface Designer. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a freelance Interface and Interaction Designer. In 2008, they joined ART-KON-TOR – Die Business to Business Agenturgruppe as a User Interface Designer. From 2009 to 2015, they worked at CONZE Informatik GmbH, first as a Senior Interaction Designer and then as a Lead User Experience Designer. Since 2016, they have been with Dentsply Sirona, starting as a UX Design Manager and later becoming the Director of Design. Currently, Florian is working as the Chapter Lead Design Operations at Dentsply Sirona.

Florian Sobirey attended Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a Diplom-Designer (FH) degree in the field of Industrial Design. In terms of additional certifications, Florian has completed a course titled "Introduction to Usability Engineering and IEC 62366-1" at Medical Device HQ.
