Gerrit Schmitt

Gerrit Schmitt is an experienced professional with a strong background in product management and customer service within the dental medical device industry. Currently serving as the Head of Regional Service Enablement & Support at Dentsply Sirona since September 2014, Gerrit has been instrumental in enhancing customer satisfaction and ROI for the SaaS cloud platform DS Core by leveraging IoT technologies. Previous roles at Dentsply Sirona include Global Product Manager for Customer Service & Success, and Global Product Manager for Treatment Centers, overseeing a dental chair product line with approximately $100 million turnover. Gerrit also held a Junior Product Manager position and participated in corporate studies, gaining insights across various departments. An internship experience in Singapore involved supporting local post-merger integration efforts during the Dentsply Sirona merger. Gerrit holds an MBA from Mannheim Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering in Business Administration & Engineering from DHBW Mannheim.
