Gitesh Kumar

Gitesh Kumar is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in innovation and product development within the medical devices and analytical instruments sectors. Currently serving as the Vice President of Innovation Portfolio and Head CTO at Dentsply Sirona since April 2009, Gitesh provides strategic direction for a significant R&D investment portfolio. Additional roles at Dentsply Sirona include Vice President of Product Development & MDR, where Gitesh led global efforts to comply with European Medical Device Regulation, and Corporate Director of Product Development, focused on streamlining innovation processes. Gitesh also founded XEED in 2024, offering advisory services in innovation strategies, organizational design, and business transformation. Previous experience includes key leadership positions at PerkinElmer, BioControl Technology, and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, with a strong foundation in engineering and research. Gitesh holds an M. Phil in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
