Rainer Seemann

Rainer Seemann has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Rainer is currently the Vice President of Global Clinical Research for Consumables - Implants at Dentsply Sirona, a position they have held since April 2021. Prior to this, Rainer worked as a Senior Lecturer and Priv. Doz. at the University of Bern from 2008 to 2014. Rainer also held various positions at Dentsply Sirona, including Vice President of Global Clinical Affairs for Consumables and Director of Clinical Affairs for Restoratives. Rainer has also worked as a Senior Business Development Manager at DENTSPLY DeTrey GmbH and as a Senior Intercompany and Professional Service Manager at Dentsply De Trey. Earlier in their career, they held academic positions at Charité Berlin and Freie Universität Berlin. Rainer's expertise includes clinical research, lecturing, and managerial roles in the dental industry. Rainer is experienced in both national and international settings.

Rainer Seemann's education history includes obtaining a Staatsexamen in Dentistry from Freie Universität Berlin in 1992. Rainer later earned a Promotion (Dr. med. dent.) from the same university in 1996. Seemann pursued further education and obtained a Habilitation (Priv. Doz.) in Dentistry from Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin in 2005. In 2007, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Health Care Management from The Berlin School of Economics and Law. Seemann also holds the title of Professor (Titularprofessor) in Zahnmedizin, awarded by the University of Bern in 2014.
