Yves-Rémi van Eycke

Yves-Rémi Van Eycke has diverse work experience in the field of AI research, machine learning, and computer programming. Yves-Rémi currently works as a Senior AI Research Scientist and Tech Lead at Dentsply Sirona, where they develop and maintains AI-based research software to cater to specific market needs. Yves-Rémi'sresponsibilities include identifying areas for process and tool improvements, defining project specifications, and setting the technical direction.

Prior to this, Yves-Rémi was a machine learning and digital image analysis researcher at DIAPath from 2014 to 2020. Yves-Rémi also worked as an activity leader at Université Libre de Bruxelles, teaching computer programming to young children. Additionally, they gained valuable experience as an intern at IBM, where they tackled real-world challenges, devised innovative solutions, and collaborated with a diverse team to create prototypes and business cases. Yves-Rémi's work experience also includes a programming role as a student job at BIAC.

Yves-Rémi Van Eycke holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering Sciences and Technology from Université libre de Bruxelles, specializing in Image Processing and Machine Learning. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Computer Science at the same institution. Yves-Rémi also obtained a Master's degree in Vision Graphics and Interactive Systems from Aalborg University. Yves-Rémi started their educational journey with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Université libre de Bruxelles. Additionally, they have an additional certification in Advanced Python from LinkedIn.
