Gijs Sluijters has a wealth of experience in the creative industry. Gijs is currently working as a Creative Director at Dentsu Creative Amsterdam since April 2021. Prior to this, they held the same role at INDIE from January 2020 to March 2021, where they worked with clients such as Tele2, Schoonenberg, Sportlife, ALDI, and Jägermeister. At Ogilvy Social.Lab Amsterdam from February 2018 to December 2019, they served as a Creative Director and worked with clients such as KFC, Volvo, Philips, and Center Parcs. During their time at DDB & Tribal Worldwide Amsterdam from March 2012 to February 2018, they worked as a Senior Creative and collaborated on global campaigns for Heineken, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, and Adidas. Gijs also has experience working as a Creative at FamousGrey from November 2010 to February 2012 and as an Art Director at FHV BBDO B.V. from August 2008 to October 2010. Gijs started their career in the creative industry as a Creative Intern at ARA from February 2008 to July 2008.
Gijs Sluijters pursued their education at different institutions. From 2000 to 2005, they attended Saxion University of Applied Sciences, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Management. Following this, from 2005 to 2009, they studied at Willem de Kooning Academy Rotterdam, specializing in Graphic Design and Advertising, and earned another Bachelor's degree.
