Luke Vink has a diverse range of work experience in creative technology and design. Luke is currently the Head of Creative Technology at Dentsu Creative Amsterdam, where they lead a development team and directs innovation projects. Prior to this, they held the position of Creative Technology Lead at the same company, where they drove creative briefs, prototyped radical ideas, and led tech-driven projects.
Before joining Dentsu Creative, Luke worked as a creative technologist and experience designer at their own label called Endangered Species. In this role, they worked on various web, mobile, and physical product startups globally, taking on multiple roles such as driving design and product market fit, creating brand identity, UI/UX design, motion graphics, and more.
Luke also has experience as a Design Lead at Campfire, a platform for authentic audio conversations that raise money for charity. Luke was responsible for the experience design and creative direction of the brand, designing various assets such as the brand identity, app, product films, website, and marketing materials.
Furthermore, Luke has worked as a researcher at the MIT Media Lab, focusing on 'Radical Atoms' and creating tangible interfaces that allow for real and physical interactions. Luke Vink obtained a Bachelor of Design in Product Design from Auckland University of Technology in 2009. In 2012, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Science from Eindhoven University of Technology. Lastly, from 2014 to 2016, Luke completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) with a specialization in Tangible Media Group at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Media Lab.
