Phil Rzepka has a diverse work experience in the media and marketing industry. Phil is currently the EVP and Head of Media at dentsu, where they oversee U.S. and global digital media for General Motors. Phil joined dentsu in December 2017. Prior to that, Phil worked at Carat from 2012 to 2017, holding roles such as SVP and Head of Global Innovation, SVP and Head of U.S. Digital Media Planning and Investment, SVP and Group Director of Digital, and VP and Group Director of Digital. Phil also worked at Starcom MediaVest Group from 2008 to 2012 as Vice President, Director, National Digital. Phil began their career at General Motors Planworks in 2002, where they held positions including Associate Media Director, Associate Director - Digital Brand Advisor, Interactive Planning Manager, and Media Planner. Before that, they worked at Ford Motor Media (JWT) as an Interactive Negotiator and Interactive Media Analyst. Phil's earliest work experience was as a Marketing Manager at Urban Trends, a specialty retail company, from 1997 to 1999.

Phil Rzepka holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from Wayne State University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006. Phil also earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration from the same university between 1995 and 1999. In addition to their formal education, Phil has obtained certifications in "Difficult Conversations: Talking about Race at Work" and "Skills for Inclusive Conversations" from LinkedIn, both in 2021.
