Carrie Walton Penner is an accomplished leader and philanthropist with extensive experience in education and sports management. Since August 2022, Carrie has served as the owner of the Denver Broncos Football Club. As a longstanding member of the Walton Family Foundation's Board of Directors since 1995, Carrie has dedicated significant efforts to educational initiatives. Additional leadership roles include member of the Board of Trustees at Stanford University and The Aspen Institute, board member at KIPP Foundation, and previous board member at EdVoice and Charter School Growth Fund. Carrie also contributed to the advisory board of Stanford University Graduate School of Education from 2011 to 2017. Carrie holds a Master's Degree in Program Evaluation and a Master's Degree in Education Administration and Policy Analysis from Stanford University, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and History from Georgetown University.
