Chris Spelke

Chris Spelke has extensive work experience in real estate development and management. Chris is currently serving as the Director of Development at Elmington, a position they started in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at the Denver Housing Authority as the Interim Chief Real Estate Investment Officer and Senior Developer from 2016 to 2021. During this time, they were responsible for various aspects of the development process, such as site acquisition, planning, design, and financial feasibility. Before their role at the Denver Housing Authority, Chris had experience as a Development Project Manager at Jonathan Rose Companies and a Development Program Manager at the Denver Housing Authority. Additionally, they worked as a Broker Associate at Your Castle Real Estate and held internships at Urban Land Conservancy and Real Capital Solutions. Chris started their career as a Summer Intern at Bear Stearns & Co., where they gained experience in trading and middle office support for various financial products.

Chris Spelke attended Pepperdine University in 2003, although it is not known whether they received a degree or pursued a specific field of study. From 2004 to 2008, Chris Spelke attended the University of Colorado Boulder and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree. During their time at the University of Colorado Boulder, Chris Spelke studied Finance, Real Estate, and Political Science.
