Denver Museum of Nature & Science
Casey Mallinckrodt currently serves as the Head Conservator at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, a position held since October 2022. Previously, Casey worked as an Objects Conservator at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art from August 2019 to November 2022, and as an Assistant Object Conservator at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts from October 2016 to August 2019. Casey's career in conservation began with a role as the Samuel H. Kress Fellow in Object Conservation at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston from September 2015 to October 2016, followed by experience as an Object Conservator at the Museums of New Mexico from October 2013 to August 2015. Education includes a Master's degree from the UCLA/Getty Master's Program in the Conservation of Archaeological and Ethnographic Materials (2011-2014) and a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Sculpture from Yale University (1986-1988).
