Kristan Uhlenbrock

Kristan Uhlenbrock is currently the Executive Director at The Institute for Science & Policy at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. Previously, Kristan has held positions such as External Engagement Lead & Outreach/Comms Manager at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research and Associate Director for Ocean Communications at the Center for American Progress. Kristan has a diverse background in science writing, marine science, and photography. Kristan has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of South Florida, a Master's degree in Marine Science from the University of South Florida College of Marine Science, and a Master's degree in Science Writing from Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs.
