Alfredo Calvo

Alfredo Calvo currently serves as the Lead Educator at the Bay Area Discovery Museum, a position held since December 2022. Prior to this role, Alfredo taught 6-8 grade ELA-S Social Studies at Denver Public Schools from June to December 2022 and was a 7th Grade Teacher at Bruce Randolph School from August 2020 to June 2022. Alfredo's educational background includes a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Denver and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Latin American Studies from Yale University. Additionally, Alfredo has gained experience in various educational roles, including as an Academic Strategies Mentor at the Yale Center for Teaching and Learning and as a Teaching Fellow with Generation Teach. Early career experiences include positions in community engagement and hospitality.
