Amber Bourgeois

Amber Bourgeois has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Senior Team Lead and Math Intervention Teacher at Denver Public Schools since August 2013. Prior to this role, Amber worked as a teacher in various capacities, including positions at Girl on the Run International as a Site Coordinator, and at Kindercare Learning Centers, where responsibilities included preschool education. Additional teaching experience includes first grade and pre-K positions at Birmingham City Schools from August 2009 to May 2012. Amber's educational background includes a School Administration Certificate from the University of Denver, a Master of Arts in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Environmental Sciences with a focus on Early Childhood Development/Education from The University of Alabama.
