Katie Kirkpatrick is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Executive Director of Teaching and Learning at Denver Public Schools since January 2024. Prior to this role, Kirkpatrick was the Vice President of K-8 Academics at the KIPP Foundation, where leadership of a 17-person team focused on enhancing academic systems in literacy, science, and math for network elementary and middle schools. Kirkpatrick has also held significant positions at the KIPP Foundation, including National Director of K-8 Academic Strategy and Senior Director of Literacy Achievement, where contributions to K-8 Literacy achievement included the development of a widely adopted English Language Arts curriculum. Educational qualifications comprise a BA in History from Princeton University and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from National Louis University.
