Lorenza Lara, E.d.S, currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Force Elementary School under Denver Public Schools since July 2017, where responsibilities include leading instructional efforts and developing the master schedule. In addition, Lorenza has been an Associate Professor at the University of Colorado since October 2007, teaching courses focused on effective literacy instruction for second language learners and techniques of teaching English as a second language. Lorenza holds an Ed.S in Administrative Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Colorado Denver, a Ph.D. in Administrative Leadership, Policy Studies, and Curriculum from Jones International University, and an M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from Metropolitan State College.
