Jacob Carlson

Jacob Carlson is currently the Head of Investments at Manatt Venture Fund and also holds several positions including Director and Senior Manager in Digital & Technology Consulting at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP since August 2015. In addition, Jacob serves as an Investor with Denver Angels, a Volunteer and Young Professionals Board Member for Special Olympics Colorado, and a Young Professionals Member/Volunteer for Denver Rescue Mission. Other roles include being a Mentor at Energize Colorado and a Venture Partner at NextGen Venture Partners. Previously, Jacob managed a major project for Cognizant Technology Solutions and held the position of Associate Production Manager at Blue Sky Studios, where significant projects included work on films like "Epic" and "Ice Age: Continental Drift." Jacob holds an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business and a BA in Film Studies from Boston College, complemented by a Change Leadership Certificate from Cornell University.
