Steph Yazell

Steph is originally from central Iowa and has also lived in Georgia and Illinois. Previously, Steph worked in TRIO Student Support Services where she developed an interest in sharing her coaching skills with other advisors. She has also worked in Housing & Residence Life where she first discovered a passion for college student success and followed this passion to coach college students for almost 8 years. She obtained a master’s degree of Education in Professional Counseling and College Student Affairs from the University of West Georgia and a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies from the University of Iowa. As the Assistant Director of Success Advisement, Steph provides support to the college advisors as they work directly with students.
