Conservation Learning Manager: Child And Family Discovery at Denver Zoo

Claire Buckley has extensive experience in conservation education and museum pedagogy, currently serving as the Conservation Learning Manager for Child and Family Discovery at the Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance since November 2021, after previously holding the role of Conservation Learning Coordinator for Children & Families. Prior to this, Claire worked as an Education Coordinator at Butterfly Pavilion and served as a Conservation Educator at Wildlife Conservation Society's Prospect Park Zoo. Additional experience includes roles as a Museum Educator at both the Museum of Chinese in America and the Museum of the Moving Image, along with a Public Education Internship at The New York Botanical Garden and an Education Internship at Center for Architecture Foundation. Claire began her career as an Associate Teacher at Beauvoir, The National Cathedral Elementary School. Education credentials include a Master of Science in Museum Education from Bank Street College of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Art History from Georgetown University.
