Isabel Sofia Soares

Isabel Sofia Soares is a civil servant at the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) since March 2021, with extensive experience in social education and research. Since February 2017, Isabel has worked as a freelance researcher and methodology specialist for "EducAction!" focusing on personal and professional development. Previous roles include social media manager and projects coordinator for Associação ComuniDária, and senior technician at the Portuguese Network of Youth People for Gender Equality, where Isabel conducted research and developed projects aimed at promoting gender equality and human rights. Additionally, Isabel has experience in teaching, customer service, and administrative support, backed by a Master's degree in Sociology from Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and a Bachelor's degree in Social Education.
