James Orrell

James Orrell is an experienced organisational development and design consultant, currently serving at the Department for Work and Pensions since June 2021. As the Director of Orrell Consulting since August 2014, James leads a network of consultants and coaches focused on enhancing organisational culture and performance. Previous roles include Associate Principal Consultant at Q5, where successful projects involved organisational design for blue-chip clients, Programme Manager at Serco focusing on energy management services, and Programme Director at MO3 Power Limited overseeing solar PV projects. James's career began in the British Army and includes significant educational credentials, with a Master’s Degree from The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Exeter.
