Tom Davies

Tom Davies is the Head of Financial Modelling and Analysis at the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), leading a division focused on providing high-quality insights and analysis to enhance decision-making and resource utilization. With experience in various leadership roles within DWP, Tom has managed teams to deliver statistical, financial, and operational analysis for initiatives such as Universal Credit and cross-government policy on training for the unemployed. Previously, Tom served as an Assistant Statistician at the Office for National Statistics, contributing to research on measuring illegal activities in national accounts. Tom holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Official Statistics from the University of Southampton and a BA in Politics and Economics from Newcastle University.
