Dr Georgie Carroll

Dr. Georgie Carroll is an experienced communication professional with a diverse background in academia and publishing. Currently serving as a Senior Communication Officer at the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, Dr. Carroll has also worked as a Casual Tutor in Sociology and a PhD Candidate at the University of Sydney, where a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology was achieved. Previous roles include Publicist at Hachette Australia Books and Walker Books Australia, as well as Social Media Manager and Community Manager at Orchard. Dr. Carroll holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Sociology from the University of Sydney, completed in 2017.
