Tenille Bonoguore is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in journalism, communications, and stakeholder engagement. Currently serving as Assistant Director at the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, Tenille leads negotiations related to agriculture and works on Australia's strategic narrative at the UNFCCC. Previous roles include a strategy and storytelling consultant at NorthGuide, a freelance writer and editor, and a City Councillor for Ward 7 in Waterloo, Ontario, where emphasis was placed on climate action and sustainability. Tenille has also held senior editorial positions at the Perimeter Institute and CBC-KW, instructed courses in new media journalism, and managed Alternatives Journal. Tenille holds a BA in Journalism from Queensland University of Technology.
