Deborah Jenkins

Deborah Jenkins is currently the Chief Operating Officer at the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations. Prior to this role, she held various positions at the Australian Taxation Office, including Deputy Commissioner and Acting Second Commissioner. She also worked at the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission as Acting Commissioner. Before her government roles, Deborah was a Partner at KPMG Australia, where she provided GST advisory services and led the Global Indirect Tax Leadership team. She also has experience in indirect tax consulting at KPMG and Bell Gully. Deborah holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Hons) in Financial Economics and has completed various leadership and directorship programs.
