Dr. Deavi Purnomo

Dr. Deavi Purnomo has a diverse work experience in the field of geoscience and information management. They currently hold the position of Chief Geoscience Information Officer at the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety in Western Australia since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked at the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage, where they held multiple roles including Information Access Manager and Senior Geospatial Systems Analyst. They also worked at the Department of Training and Workforce Development as a Senior Spatial Analyst. Earlier in their career, they worked at Landgate as a Senior Spatial Consultant and Senior GIS Analyst. They started their professional career as a Research Assistant at Curtin University of Technology.
