Gary Scott has a extensive work experience in the field of electrical inspection and regulation. Gary is currently serving as the Chief Electrical Inspector (Supply) at DMIRS Building & Energy (Energy Safety) under the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety in Western Australia since July 2019. Prior to this, they held the role of A/Chief Electrical Inspector (Supply) at EnergySafety DMIRS in the same department from 2017 onwards. Gary also worked as the Electrical Inspections Manager Supply & WorkSafe Inspector, as well as Senior Electrical & WorkSafe Inspector at EnergySafety Dept of Commerce from 2001 until the present, with a short gap from November 2011 to May 2012.
Gary Scott attended Taperoo High School in South Australia, where they did not earn a degree. Later, they also attended the same school, Taperoo High School in Taperoo, South Australia, where they completed an Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
