Shahid Ahmed Khan is a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in inspection and engineering roles across various companies. Currently serving as a Senior Inspector Engineer at the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety since September 2023, Shahid previously worked at Asset Management Engineers Pty Ltd as a Mechanical Engineer and Plant Inspector, focusing on inspections of cranes, air receivers, and adherence to Australian standards. Notable past experiences also include a vacation stint at ENI Australia, where Shahid studied well operations and contributed to a carbon capture project's feasibility analysis, and earlier roles as a Sales Engineer at Dominar Engineers and a Project and Safety Engineer at Pandoora Engineers.
