Bill McMillan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental management and regulatory compliance. At the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) since September 1986, Bill McMillan served as a Portfolio Federal Project Director, overseeing the Environmental Management program at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Responsibilities included the management of waste disposition, environmental remediation, and surveillance of over 200 excess facilities. Prior to this, Bill McMillan held various project management roles at DOE starting at the Savannah River Site. Earlier in his career, Bill McMillan was the District Engineer for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, focusing on regulatory oversight of drinking water and wastewater systems, which included leadership and compliance monitoring. Bill McMillan earned a Master of Science in Environmental Systems Engineering from Clemson University and a bachelor's degree from the College of Charleston.
