Jana Hobson

Jana Hobson is an experienced communications professional currently serving as an Events and Communications Outreach Specialist at the U.S. Department of Energy since February 2024. Previous roles include Communications Coordinator at the United States Energy Association, Internal Communications Intern at the Center for Family and Community Engagement, and Public Speaking Instructor at North Carolina State University. Jana has also held positions as a Corporate Communications and Public Relations Intern at Mailchimp, a Health Communications Intern at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and several other internships in communications and marketing. Jana holds a Master of Science in Communication and Health Communication from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's degree from Spelman College.
