Jim Green

Jim Green is an experienced professional in business and procurement, currently serving as the Lead Small Business Specialist and Lead Veteran Small Business Specialist at the U.S. Department of Energy since May 2015. Prior to this role, Jim Green held the position of Senior Member of Laboratory Staff at Sandia National Laboratories from January 1993 to May 2015, where responsibilities included procurement buying and advocacy for small businesses. Jim Green's career began in the United States Air Force, where Jim served as a Major and Acquisition Contracting Officer from January 1973 to January 1993. Jim Green holds a Master of Science degree in Business/Hospital Administration from the University of Northern Colorado, obtained between 1979 and 1985.
