John Krohn

John Krohn is an experienced professional with a robust background in public affairs and energy policy. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief Of Staff in the Office of Nuclear Energy at the U.S. Department of Energy, John supports the Assistant Secretary in implementing policies to enhance domestic nuclear supply chains. Previous roles include Director of Management and Operations overseeing the Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs and Director of Intergovernmental and External Affairs, where John established effective communication processes between the Department and stakeholders. John's earlier experience includes serving as Communications Manager at the U.S. Energy Information Administration and Director of Strategic Communications at FTI Consulting, where significant media outreach was achieved. John also held positions in legislative affairs and public policy, including contributions to the Marine Corps and a legislative internship for Senator Arlen Specter. John holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Science in Crime, Law and Justice from Penn State University.
