Michael Young

Michael Young is an experienced cybersecurity and operational technology professional currently serving as the Director of Cybersecurity and Operational Technology at Hunt Energy Network, where responsibilities include managing infrastructure and cybersecurity for Industrial Control Systems, Cloud/DevOps, and networks. Additionally, Michael is an alumnus of the 2022 Operational Technology Defender Fellowship with the U.S. Department of Energy, contributing to efforts in cybersecurity and energy security. Prior to these roles, Michael held positions such as Cybersecurity Engineer at Hunt Consolidated, Inc., Senior Network Security Engineer at Sharyland Utilities, and Systems Engineer at both Synetra and PointForward Inc. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from The University of Texas Permian Basin and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Business Administration from Midland College.
