Nasim Emadi

Nasim Emadi currently serves as a Technical Project Officer at the U.S. Department of Energy since September 2023. Previously, Nasim held the role of Graduate Research Assistant at the Colorado School of Mines from January 2021 to July 2022 and also worked at Mathnasium as an Instructor from January 2020 to January 2021, where tutoring K-12 students in math was a primary responsibility. Prior experience includes a Graduate Research Assistant position at Oregon State University, focusing on heat exchanger design and efficiency analysis, and tutoring at the University of Nevada, Reno, in various engineering subjects. An internship at Tesla involved supporting Model 3 Drive Unit Production, facilitating communication between engineering and production teams. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Advanced Energy Systems and Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno.
