Shawn Wang

Shawn Wang is an experienced technology leader currently serving as Technical Director at the U.S. Department of Energy since October 2014, where responsibilities include driving technology innovation and collaborating with industry leaders on disruptive technologies. Prior roles include Director of Corporate Information Systems at DOE, Deputy CIO at the U.S. Department of Education, Chief Architect and Program Delivery Manager for the IRS's modernization project, and Consulting Architect at IBM. Additionally, Shawn Wang has held IT management positions in the State of Wyoming. Educational achievements include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Wyoming and various executive certificates from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Business School and MIT.
