Heather Miller has extensive experience in animal training and education, currently serving as a Jan Fennell Dog Listener at Paws2Listen Dog Training since November 2007, where effective communication techniques with dogs are taught. Additionally, since June 2012, Heather has been a Pet Educator with the Department of Environment and Primary Industries, delivering important presentations on responsible pet ownership to young children. As a Pet Therapy Volunteer Assessor and visiting volunteer at Lort Smith Animal Hospital since August 2014, Heather interacts with aged care residents and assesses potential therapy volunteers and their dogs. Previously, Heather worked as a community pharmacist in the U.K. for over three decades. Heather holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Bradford, earned between 1972 and 1976, and completed secondary education at Queen Mary's High School for Girls in Walsall, U.K.
