Gwendolen Morgan

Gwendolen Morgan currently serves as an Election Observer at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Ireland since December 2023 and holds the position of Registrar (Director of legal services) at the Workplace Relations Commission since March 2020. Morgan has been a Board Member of Holocaust Education Ireland since October 2018 and previously worked as a Senior Lawyer at the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission from November 2015 to March 2020, where the focus was on promoting human rights and equality in Ireland. Prior to that, Morgan held roles as a Senior Legal Adviser and Project Officer at the European Centre for Electoral Support, and as a Senior Lawyer at Bindmans LLP, where a diverse public law and human rights practice was developed. Early career experience includes roles with Fisher Meredith, the European Commission, and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Gwendolen Morgan holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and has further qualifications from Gray's Inn and the Law Society of Ireland, specializing in judicial skills and human rights.
