Luxolo Mdolo

Luxolo Mdolo is a Medical Doctor at the Department of Health South Africa since December 2024 and has been actively involved in various educational and supportive roles. As a Gallagher Scholar since September 2018, Luxolo has contributed to academic mentorship and wellness initiatives, serving as a Private Tutor and Student Wellness Representative at the University of Cape Town. Luxolo has also held positions as Subwarden, Front Desk Assistant, and Academic Representative at Obz Square UCT residence, focusing on student support and well-being. Additionally, Luxolo contributed to the African Research Society as Deputy Chairman and engaged in entrepreneurial ventures by co-founding 2nd shelf. Luxolo's academic background includes a Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery and a Bachelor of Medical Science Honours specializing in Neuroscience and Physiology, both obtained from the University of Cape Town.
