David Onu MD is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in various capacities within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as the Statewide Specialty Director of CPHS and Forensic Physician at the Department of Health, Tasmania since July 2011, David Onu has previously held positions such as Neurosurgical Registrar and Neurosurgical Medical Officer at Port of Spain General Hospital. David Onu also played a leadership role as President of Nigeria Community in Tasmania Inc from October 2017 to October 2023. With robust educational credentials, including a Master of Forensic Medicine from Monash University and multiple fellowships from esteemed organizations, David Onu has further enriched expertise through coaching certifications in life, lifestyle, and relationship coaching, alongside participation in the Tasmanian Leaders Program.
