Halima A. Bhatti

Halima A. Bhatti is an experienced professional currently serving as an Administrative Officer at the Department of Health in Tasmania since April 2022 and as an Artist in Residence at Salamanca Arts Centre since November 2022. Prior to these roles, Halima held positions as an Artist in Residence specializing in calligraphy at Youth Arts & Recreation Centre from April 2021 to October 2022 and co-owned Ready Lunch cafe from January 2016 to May 2022. Additional experience includes serving as a Youth Advocate for the City of Hobart from January 2020 to April 2022 and working as a Laboratory Assistant at TasTAFE from October 2018 to February 2019. Halima's educational background includes a degree in Medical Research from the University of Tasmania, a Diploma of Laboratory Operations from TasTAFE, and A-levels in Biology from Lahore Grammar School.
