Ashleigh Brown

Ashleigh Brown is a media professional with extensive experience in leadership and communication roles. Currently, Ashleigh serves as the Head of Media for the Victorian Department of Health since January 2022. Prior to this, Ashleigh was the Media Manager at COVID-19 Quarantine Victoria from February 2021 to January 2022. Ashleigh’s background includes roles as Senior Media Adviser and Media Adviser at the Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria, from February 2017 to February 2021. Ashleigh also worked as a Journalist at News Talk 3AW 693 from January 2012 to February 2017, and as Breakfast News Editor at Melbourne Talk Radio from April 2010 to December 2011. Earlier career experiences include journalism positions at Capital Radio Network, 2CC, and 2GN. Ashleigh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Charles Sturt University, earned between 2005 and 2007.
