Fariba Farahani is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in biomedical engineering and project management within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as a Senior Asset Officer in Engineering at the Victorian Department of Health since August 2025, Fariba previously worked as a Biomedical Engineer at The Royal Melbourne Hospital from August 2021 to July 2025, where key achievements included leading a $250K Catheterisation Laboratory upgrade. Prior to this, Fariba contributed to the significant $200 million Joan Kirner hospital project at Western Health from May 2013 to August 2021, successfully commissioning over 2500 medical devices in collaboration with various stakeholders.
