Nafisa Yussf

Nafisa Yussf is a highly experienced public health policy professional, currently serving as a Senior Policy Adviser in Strategy and Innovation at the Victorian Department of Health since October 2022. Previous roles include Acting Manager and Acting Principal Policy Adviser within the same department, where leadership focused on strategic public policy analysis and the Victorian women's sexual and reproductive health plan 2022-30. Nafisa has held positions as Honorary Fellow at the University of Melbourne and Social Researcher at the WHO Collaborating Centre for Viral Hepatitis, contributing to key projects such as the Victorian Perinatal Research Project. Additional experience encompasses advocacy roles with various organizations, including the Victorian Hepatitis B Alliance and Cancer Council Australia, and public health positions in community engagement and cultural diversity. Nafisa holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Arts in International Community Development from Victoria University.
