Ernest Hoffman, Ph.D., is a seasoned personnel research psychologist currently serving at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development since September 2024, applying expertise in Industrial-Organizational Psychology to enhance human capital programs. Previously, from August 2014 to September 2024, Hoffman held multiple roles at PRADCO, culminating as Vice President of Assessments and Research & Development, where responsibilities included leading assessment initiatives and managing a multi-site team. Additional experience includes directing programs focused on best practices in assessment at PRADCO, consulting on selection measures at the Center for Organizational Research, and serving as chair of the Great Lakes Employment Assessment Network. Hoffman’s academic background includes a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and other advanced degrees from The University of Akron and Trinity Lutheran Seminary.
