Lora Routt

Lora Routt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications, data analysis, and program management, primarily within the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) since May 2006. Currently serving as the Director of Communications and Data Analysis in the Office of Field Policy and Management, Lora Routt manages internal communication strategies and data reporting, while informing stakeholders of departmental initiatives. Previous roles include serving as a Senior Advisor to various Deputy Assistant Secretaries, where Lora Routt provided strategic guidance on significant housing and community development programs, including the Community Development Block Grant and the implementation of the 2013 HOME Final Rule. Lora Routt's background also includes key positions at the U.S. Department of Justice and Harris County Community Development Department, highlighting a strong commitment to public service and community enhancement. Lora Routt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Public Administration from Northeastern University.
