Dave Beck

Dave Beck is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within Australian government departments. Currently serving as Director of Regulation & Governance at the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts, Dave leads the New Vehicle Efficiency Strategy. Previously, as Region Lead & Director at the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, Dave provided oversight for several regulatory divisions and supported teams across multiple locations. Experience with recovery activities during the NSW and QLD floods was demonstrated while leading the National Recovery and Resilience Agency. Dave’s career also includes significant roles in strategic operations, project management, and customer service across multiple government sectors. Educational credentials include multiple master's degrees in Public Administration from ANZSOG and Griffith University, further complemented by diplomas and certificates in financial planning, business administration, and management.
