Charlie Allen

Charlie Allen has extensive experience in workforce strategy and project management within the public sector, currently serving as the Manager of Workforce Strategy and Support at the Department of Justice and Community Safety in Victoria since February 2018. Responsibilities include overseeing recruitment, attraction, and learning development for the Youth Justice facility at Cherry Creek. Previous roles at the same department included Project Officer and Senior Project Officer, where Charlie drove project delivery related to workforce planning. Experience also includes recruitment advisory positions at Ambulance Victoria and various educational roles such as a Teacher with the NSW Department of Education. Charlie holds a Diploma of Project Management from Swinburne University of Technology, a Master’s degree in Development Studies from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching/Arts from UNSW.
