Dishella Fernando

Dishella Fernando is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in transformation, development, and capability within government sectors. Currently serving as the Executive Director at the Department of Justice and Community Safety in Victoria, Dishella has held various senior roles since January 2019, including Director of Transformation, Learning and Capability, and Director of Business Operations in the Office of the Secretary. Prior experience includes serving as Chief of Staff to the Emergency Management Commissioner at Emergency Management Victoria during the COVID response, and multiple advisory and policy roles within the Department of Premier and Cabinet, the Victorian Multicultural Commission, and the State Crisis Centre. Dishella holds a Master’s Degree in Criminology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, both from the University of Melbourne.
