Fiona Dowsley is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data and performance within the public sector, currently serving as the Executive Director of Data and Performance at the Department of Justice and Community Safety in Victoria since January 2014. Fiona also holds the position of Honorary Director of the National Coronial Information System and has been a Director at the Sentencing Advisory Council since July 2014, where responsibilities include advising on sentencing issues and providing statistical information. Prior to these roles, Fiona contributed significantly to the Australian Bureau of Statistics from November 2003 to January 2014, overseeing vital programs such as Measures of Australia's Progress and leading the National Centre for Crime and Justice Statistics. Fiona's academic background includes a Master of Public Policy and Management and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology and Criminology from the University of Melbourne.
